Sound Journey
Explore the relaxing effects of sound with the gong, singing bowls and chimes guided by Samantha Grodecki. As the gong and singing bowls are sounded, the powerful rhythmic vibrations resonate throughout the body. Sound massages the mind and opens us up to explore the effects within and that is where the journey begins. Please join us for this meditative journey with sound. We will begin with centering with our breath followed by soft movements of seated yoga stretches then rest into the sound. Dress comfortably; feel free to bring your own yoga mat, blanket, eye pillow…whatever you would like to be as comfortable as possible. Meditation cushions, blankets and mats will be provided in limited quantity. Yoga for Stress and Anxiety Relief
Stress & Anxiety Release Yoga Class: Wednesdays, 6:00-7:00 p.m. in Maryville. $10--must reserve online--cash accepted in office

This class brings awareness to the body with mindfulness as we integrate breath awareness, movement and meditation. Emphasis is on cultivating mindfulness, breathing and exploring the internal nature of the yoga stretches and movements —how they feel, rather than how they look. The class will begin with a brief meditation then unfurl into gentle yoga movements that blossom into a sacred pause.

This class is a come as you are class that is open to all levels and body types. It is a slow-paced mindful class where supportive tools are learned for managing stress and release of stress. At times, the singing bowls, gong, chimes or drum may be played. This is no a touch / no assist instructor guided class with the motto you know your body best - this is your practice, honor where you are at and what is best for you. Dress comfortably to allow for movement, bring a yoga mat (limited quantity available on site), water, eye pillow, if you would like and anything else to support your practice. The space is located in an office type complex at the end with accessibility being by ramp or steps.
